Beverly has over 17 years of experience in office administration and dental insurance experience. After completing two years at junior college, she began a banking career, where she worked for 20 years before making the transition to medical transcribing and then the dental field. She is married and has two boys.
Janis was born and raised here in sunny southern California. After graduating from West Torrance High School, she started working in a dental office as a dental assistant, was trained and received her certification as a registered dental assistant in 1980. Since 1990 she has worked in our periodontal specialty office and loves working with patients to improve and maintain optimal oral health.
Born and raised in southern California, Dr. Chan loves warm beach weather and the outdoors. He is an avid surfer, fencer, and father of four. After dental school, he stayed on to teach and do research in biomaterials, publishing numerous articles in internationally and nationally renowned dental periodicals. He went on to complete specialty training in periodontics and received his certificate in periodontics from Loma Linda School of Dentistry, where along with his private practice, he continues to teach part-time as an assistant professor in the Department of Periodontology.
Having worked for several years as a dental assistant, Gina was inspired to pursue training as a dental hygienist. She graduated from Loma Linda University in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science in dental hygiene. She has worked over 10 years in our specialty office. She loves gardening, cooking, fishing, and travelling, along with raising her two boys with her husband.
After completing her associate of arts degree at Riverside City College, she continued training at Pasadena City College for dental hygiene. She has over 30 years of experience as a registered dental hygienist, much of it in periodontal specialty offices. She enjoys travel, boating, hiking, kayaking, along with scrapbook and craft activities. She is a committed annual participant in the Susan Komen Breast Cancer Three Day. Along with three children and a husband, she has charge over two desert tortoises and a fish.
Terri has been involved with the dental field for over 34 years. She was licensed as a registered dental hygienist in California after graduating from the Southwestern Dental Hygiene School in San Diego. She is happily married with grown children and grandchildren. In her spare time, she enjoys photography as well as acrylic and watercolor painting.
Since 1985 Marcie has been involved in the dental field. She received an associate of science degree in mathematics and science from San Jacinto Valley College. Her training as a dental hygienist was from San Joaquin Valley College. Married with 4 children and one grandson, she enjoys traveling, the beach, as well as watching and supporting her competitive tri-athlete husband.
